Kevin Davies will return to the Bolton squad having served a one-match ban.
Davies, the club captain, was suspended for last weekend's defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers after picking up his fifth booking of the campaign in the previous match against Fulham.
Gavin McCann and Johan Elmander picked up minor knocks in the match at Molineux but should be fit for selection.
